Established in 1975 by the present owners, John and Lyn Rainey, we can claim to be New Zealand's oldest continuously
operating essential oil production and marketing company.
The Company's original mission was to grow, harvest and distil a range of essential oil crops primarily for the flavour
markets of the world. We supplied the very discerning overseas markets of France, Japan, the United States, Spain, Great
Britain and Australia. In recent years our focus has shifted from offering a limited range of locally produced oils to
offering a complete range of essential oils, both local and imported. Our knowledge of 'what makes a good quality oil'
and our numerous contacts from around the world, built up over the years, means that we are able to offer you high
quality essential oils at an affordable price.
From our 30 years in the essential oils industry, we have built an understanding of essential oil crop management,
harvesting and distilling techniques, including the overwhelming importance of quality as the key ingredient to
successfully marketing essential oils internationally. Our reputation for knowledge of our industry is such that we
have provided consultancy services for those interested in growing chamomile, lavender, rosemary and other essential
oil crops.
